The Asia Pacific Journal of Applied Sport Sciences (APJASS) is a peer-reviewed international academic journal published by the Asian Society for Sport Convergence Sciences (ASCS). As the official journal of ASCS, APJASS serves as a leading scholarly outlet for applied sport sciences in the Asia–Pacific region.
The primary aim of APJASS is to publish high-quality applied research that explicitly bridges sport science theory and real-world practice. The journal focuses on advancing evidence-based knowledge that informs professional practice, policy development, and education in sport sciences, while addressing contemporary and emerging sport-related issues relevant to both regional and global contexts.
APJASS welcomes original and innovative manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of theory, research, and practice in applied sport sciences. The journal publishes conceptual and empirical studies, including quantitative research, qualitative research, experimental and quasi-experimental designs, mixed-methods studies, and review articles, provided that they demonstrate methodological rigor, theoretical significance, and clear practical implications.
By promoting international academic exchange and interdisciplinary perspectives, APJASS aims to function as a central academic platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking scientifically grounded solutions to applied problems in sport sciences across the Asia–Pacific region and beyond.
