Journal of Korea Society of Waste Management

APJASS is committed to maintaining full transparency and ethical standards in its open-access publishing model. To support the operational costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, online publication, and long-term digital preservation, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 270 for manuscripts that are accepted for publication.

The APC is charged only after the completion of a rigorous peer-review process and final editorial acceptance. There are no submission fees, review fees, or fast-track fees at any stage of the evaluation process. Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance, nor does it influence editorial decisions in any manner.

All editorial decisions are made independently by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board based solely on the academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance of the submitted manuscript. The journal strictly separates editorial decision-making from financial transactions, ensuring that peer review and acceptance are conducted in accordance with internationally recognized publication ethics.

APJASS does not engage in aggressive solicitation of manuscripts or financial incentives tied to publication outcomes. The APC policy is publicly disclosed on the journal website to ensure clarity for authors, institutions, and indexing bodies, and is designed to support the journal’s long-term sustainability while preserving its scholarly integrity.
